VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM is North Karnataka’s only dedicated, full-time animal rescue shelter, serving Ballari and surrounding regions with unwavering compassion and commitment. Founded with the vision of building a humane and cruelty-free society, we work every day to protect and care for animals who depend entirely on human kindness.
With no major rescue facility within a 350 km radius, our shelter stands as a lifeline for injured, abandoned, and abused animals across North Karnataka. We respond to emergency rescue calls, provide critical medical care, and ensure long-term rehabilitation for animals who have nowhere else to go.

Our Services Include
Currently, we care for over 125 permanent resident animals at our shelter and feed 300–400 stray animals daily on the streets. Through our Animal Birth Control (ABC) and vaccination programs, we actively work to control overpopulation and prevent the spread of diseases, creating safer communities for both animals and people.
Driven by dedication, transparency, and deep compassion, VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM functions entirely through public donations, volunteers, and community partnerships. Every rescue we make and every life we save is possible because of the kindness and support of people who believe in our mission.
We do not turn away animals in need. Whether it is a severely injured street dog, an abandoned puppy, or an old and helpless animal, we stand by them until they heal and find safety.
